In the season of the Great Lent and the Holy Pascha Week, the church reads a substantial part of the Bible. In every Divine Liturgy, sections from the Old and New Testaments are read. Complete Books of the Bible are read in certain days. The Book of Job is read in Wednesday of the Pascha Week. The Book of Revelation is read in the night of Apocalypse, the Book of Psalms is read at the end of the Great Friday, the Book of Tobia is read in the sixth Friday of the Lent. The four Gospels are read in the Pascha Week. It would be a great blessing if one reads the Bible during this blessed period.
It is sad that some people don’t give the due honor to the Holy Bible and question its contents. The Bible is not partly true and partly false, but all true, the blessed, holy Word of God.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him. And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way: And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted. Yet He opened not His mouth: He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep before its shearers is silent. So He opened not His mouth. (Isaiah 53:5-7)

God taught us how to pray by St. Cyprian, martyred Bishop of Carthage, 258)
The Lord has given us many counsels and commandments to help us toward salvation. He has even given us a pattern of prayer, instructing us on how we are to pray. He has given us life, and with His accustomed generosity, He has also taught us how to pray. He has made it easy for us to be heard, as we pray to the Father in words taught us by the Son... Let us pray as God our Master has taught us. To ask the Father in words His Son has given us, to let Him hear the words of Christ ringing in His ears, is to make our prayer one of friendship, a family prayer.(St. Cyprian, martyred Bishop of Carthage, 258)
